4G BBQ cum Class Chalet

Hello people,
here to update you all on our class upcoming gathering (4th Jan to 6th Jan).

Firstly,
the meeting time wil be 1600 (Please do not be late) at Yishun Interchange, bus stand no. 39, on the 4th of Jan. Eric will be there to bring you all to the venue for the BBQ, which is Costa Sands @ Downtown East. We still do not know the room no. for our rooms yet, so can't tell you the exact pit no. yet. I will update you guys on the pit no. as soon as i know about it. The BBQ will start around 5 30 if nothing goes wrong.

Secondly,
if you are coming from the BBQ, please bring along a wrapped gift that is worth approximately $10 as we will be having a gift exchange activity. This gift has to be suitable for both boys and girls. The reason behind this activity is so that each of us will be able to have a farewell gift cum christmas present and a momento of the first BBQ that our class will be having.

Thirdly,
this is the list of food that we will be having for our BBQ:
- Chicken Satay
- Otah
- Buffalo Wings
- Sambal Stingray
- Vegetarian Yakitori Set (Reserved for the vegetarians only)
- Japanese Sweet Potato
- Butter Sweet Corn
- Fried Bee Hoon
- Marshmellow
(Don't start drooling. :P)

Fourthly,
for those people who have not paid the class fund yet for the month of July and August, please do so by paying it to Ernest on the actual day. Please be responsible or else we will not be able to afford to purchase drinks for the BBQ.

Fifthly,
people who are staying for the chalet, please pay $10 to Xian Kai, Ernest or me on that day after the BBQ when those who are staying has left.

Frankly speaking, I have no idea how to craft a touching post like Ernest??(Ernest you should feel honoured =P) Just hope you guys won't be discouraged by the last few papers. Always remember that for every mark you lose, there are always many more people losing more marks than you :D Trust the school's past few cohorts' results and the teachers' experiences even if you dont trust yourself, and you will gain confidence in the process. Mr Lee said last wednesday, that a lot of pure Physics students from last year's batch of 4H complained to him, saying that he did not teach many things like the thermocouple, causing them to lose a lot of marks. However, majority of them got distinctions in the end. So, do not be discouraged even if you lost quite a lot of marks in paper 2. Remember, don't be discouraged and continue mugging!!!

All geog students (both elective and core), please be more kpo and be updated about the natural disaster situation that has just occured, especially about how it has affected the development of the country, the international organisations involved, foreign aids etc. All these could be use as examples for the O level exams. So,
PLEASE BE MORE KPO OF THE LATEST NATURAL DISASTER!!!

Also, with regards to the 1997 recession, its known as the ASIAN RECESSION and NOT global recession as what Ms Lim had said in class while going through the prelim 1 core geog paper.

Btw, Ms Lim has uploaded some map reading notes on the AskNLearn Portal. Do pay a visit and study it. Got any queries, pls do find Ms Lim during the consultant time slot.

1. For core geog students, the dateline for your assignment (Northland Sec MYE 2008 & 2009 papers) has been pushed to WED 29/07/2009. Please complete it by then and don't make Ms Lim angry.

2. There's CHEM HW today. The one on organic chem (challenging questions). Dateline: MON, 27/07/2009

3. Please tell me your opinion if you all would want to start the tues morning exercise again by tagging your views on the tag board (can make the blog alive again in the same time ;D haha.), however this time the activty could only be carried out at the netball court so some activities that were played previously would not be able to be carried out again as planned.

4. Ernest will be collecting class funds on one day next week. Please bring extra money to sch next week.

2. There will be chem supp everyday for 1 hr after sch. The timing and location is as followed:

Mon: 2 45 - 3 45 LT
